“ We visited Sammi Wilson and her art shop at the Corris Craft Centre having found her Gallery listed in The Little Gallery Guide, and what a joy it was to behold. Her shop is a glorious and visual celebration of Sammi’s unwavering strength and determination in the face of adversity.
Her art serves as a reflection of the difficult path she has so far journeyed on, embodying a spirit that truly enabled her to rise up from the ashes.
Each brushstroke of her artworks tell a story of overcoming challenges, this invites her viewers to connect deeply with themes of transformation and hope.
If you visit I have no doubt you will appreciate how the breathtaking landscapes as well as the myth & magic which surrounds her in her beloved homeland has intertwined with her own energy and vibrancy, to remind us, especially during these unsettling times, that from struggles, great things are born. We highly recommend a visit to Sammi Wilson Art to discover how her artistic expression not only showcases the stunning history wrapped ink painted scenes of Wales but also her new artworks for 2025 serve as a testament to the beauty of the determination found in her vulnerability. “ ~ Leena & Paul Grove

“Sammi Wilson, The New Artist in Residence at Corris (Craft Centre), creates intriguing abstract under water worlds with coloured inks and pen. While not a seascape in the traditional sense, the artworks give me a sense of kelp forests under the waves…” ~
