Janice Wilson BA Hons MA

IMG_57B40EFDD7C5-1.jpeg

Janice has always enjoyed all aspects of art, including the work of international artists, especially oriental art.

Growing up at a time when university study was only for the rich or highly gifted, Janice was able to study art and design at a local college.

Working was the next step before marriage and children, although she continued to enjoy arts and crafts.

She also found happiness in encouraging her children to express their personalities by producing their own arts and crafts.

With the years passing Janice was able to return to her first love and studied to Masters level with the Open University.

After nursing her husband, who suffered from a degenerative brain disease, Multiple System Atrophy, until his death in 2021, Janice was given the opportunity to join her eldest daughter Sammi in her new artistic venture, allowing to produce  her own art and embroideries and showcase them in the Sammi Wilson Art Gallery.

Janice works in the shop most days and can be seen drawing, painting or embroidering her designs onto fabric.

We don’t have any products to show here right now.
